What Nestlé's Enhanced Safety Standards Mean for Your Baby

Globally, in early 2026, there were several countries and various brands which announced formula milk product recalls. When it was made aware of the issues, Nestlé Singapore worked closely with the Singapore authorities, issued precautionary buy backs and stopping sales where needed and took precautionary steps. These moments, while difficult, reflect something important: a system designed to identify issues promptly and act responsibly.

Multi-Stage Manufacturing Quality Control

Every batch of formula undergoes quality testing at multiple points: raw ingredient verification, in-process checks during manufacturing, and finished product testing before release. No batch is approved for distribution until it clears all criteria. Our production sites are certified under FSSC 22000, an internationally recognized standard.

Traceability From Farm to Formula

Nestlé operates one of the food industry's most advanced ingredient traceability systems. Milk, vitamins, and functional ingredients used in our formulas can be traced back through the supply chain — enabling fast identification and containment if any issue is ever flagged, anywhere in the world.

Any product that does not meet these standards is not made available to consumers — and if a concern is identified post-distribution, Nestle takes prompt action, in close collaboration with SFA.
